GUNS & GULAABS on Netflix is set in the lazy opium town of Gulaabgunj in the early 90s.

The closing credits - inspired by the events and typography of that period - try to bring that warm nostalgia of a simpler, sweeter time to screen.

The names of the cast - appearing on fond yesteryear elements of a small town - each speak to the character essayed by the actor. As you move further into the show, the connections sweetly unravel.

They also feature various pop culture references and easter eggs, hidden just out of sight as small surprises for the viewers.

Almost all the typography is hand drawn - as it would’ve been in that time.
