GUNS & GULAABS on Netflix is set in the small, lazy town of Gulaabgunj in the early 90s. The closing credits — rooted in the lives and visual landscape of the time — bring the warm nostalgia of a simpler, sweeter time to screen.

An ode to imperfection and to the analogue world — most of the typography is hand drawn, as it would’ve been in a time when ads were painted on walls and love letters penned by hand.

Each cast name appears on a fond yesteryear memory — and also hides references to their respective character!

As one move further into the show, the connections sweetly unravel. The hope is that the moment of discovery makes it memorable!

Viewers smiled, decoded, shared their discoveries with friends and with strangers - engaging with not only the oft-ignored end scroll, but also with each other.
